Language give meaning to experience
Postmodern counselling by a member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors.
Completed a Master's programme at the University of Waikato, one of the few institutions in the world specialising in Narrative Therapy research.
Mihi kōrero
Mihi kōrero comes from te reo Māori: "Mihi" expresses gratitude, acknowledgement, and grief, while "kōrero" means to speak. This name embodies my belief in creating a safe space where your pain and struggles are truly heard and validated before we begin working on solutions.
Counselling
The counselling I offer is called Narrative Therapy. Together, we explore the difficulties and concerns you're facing right now through conversation. We also talk about your hopes—what supports them and helps them grow. We seek to uncover whatever holds meaning for you. As your life story unfolds in our sessions, you may come to see more clearly what matters most to you, why you hold those values, and the steps you truly wish to take forward.
Individual & Couples counselling
Online counselling is available for individuals, couples, and families.
Responsibility of counsellor
I am committed to providing effective and safe counselling, guided by the Code of Ethics of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (NZAC).

"Let's go somewhere," I say. "Where shall we go?" you say.
"This place looks nice," I say. "This place is fine," you say.
As we talk, the sun sets,
and here becomes somewhere."
